06:30 Time for breakfast and checking out. Our driver and guide pick you up from your hotel and we take the road trip heading north.
Travel uphill amid imposing mountains to Cao Bang City, then continue onto a road with breathtaking landscape to the Chinese border. Our destination is the amazing Ban Gioc Waterfall, right on the border between Vietnam and China. We have time to get refreshed by the waterfall then travel to Nguom Ngao Cave, a magnificent one amid a secret valley surrounded by karst mountains. The walk in the valley offers us with lovely scenery. Later we travel back to Cao Bang City.

Travel on the less-travelled road with wild landscape of sensational beauty for Ha Giang. Later in the day, we’ll have to climb steep mountain slopes leading to the jaw-dropping Dong Van Plateau. Overnight at a hotel in Meo Vac Township.

Check out of our hotel and enjoy a couple of hours adoring the heavenly beauty of the Ma Pi Leng Pass, among the most stunning mountain passes in Vietnam. Travel to Dong Van Town later in the day. Have free time.

Travel to the Vuong Family Residence, former residence of the “Hmong King” of Dong Van Plateau. The residence has a lovely Chinese architecture and a lovely story of the construction process.
Leaving the house of the Hmong King, we’ll travel through the unreal beauty of the Karst Plateau of Dong Van to Hanoi.
Arrive back in Hanoi at 21:30 – 22:00 Overnight in Hanoi.

07:30 Pick-up from your hotel or private address in Hanoi and departure to Mai Chau, Hoa Binh.
Arrive at Thung Khe Pass, the beautiful scenery Pass (One of the 10 most beautiful passes in Vietnam). Enjoy a special lunch with the local cuisine featuring the yin-yang balance of the Asian culture. After lunch, we will be continuing the journey of exploration in Mai Chau. Take a bike to explore the rice fields and limestone mountains with a unique route. See farmers working in fields and visit surrounding peaceful villages such as Pom Coong Village, Lac Village, Nhot Village, and Na Phon Village.
14:00 Depart for Pu Luong Nature Reserve, which will take an hour by special-use car along narrow roads through terraced rice fields.
15:30 Explore Doi Cave (Bat cave), this is the largest cave in Pu Luong, the spot is created by thousands of great blocks of limestone having existed for 250 million years. There are thousands of stalactites in peculiar shapes showing how magnificent nature is. Taking steps beside these cliffs and descending deep into the heart of the cave, travellers will be rewarded with a feeling of excitement by the beautiful stones and the sound of water dripping down from the ceiling. You will enjoy lunch with local cuisine.
17:00 Check-in and relaxing, dinner at a restaurant with Vietnamese cuisine, and overnight at Pu Luong.
05:30 – 06:00 The van will take you to the local market in Pho Doan on Sunday morning. Pho Don Fair is the place to exchange, buy, and sell products of the Kinh, Muong, and Thai people. They come from surrounding communes in Ba Thuoc District, Tan Lac, and Lac Son districts of Hoa Binh Province as well.
07:00 Have breakfast and check out.
08:30 Trek to Uoi and Lan Villages this is a common and easy walk around the most beautiful valley of rice terraces. Then you will walk through small paths shrouded in vegetation to slowly reveal a picturesque Uoi village sitting at the base of a towering mountain. Your camera will not be able to remain still when you see the panorama view of the village from above. Continue walking down the hill and visit Lan village. If time permits, we will visit a local family where we can learn about their traditional brocade weaving.
11:30 – 12:00 You will enjoy lunch with local cuisine.
14:00 Leave Puluong going to Ninh Binh on the way you will stop at the stunning water wheels. Get up close to each wheel and discover how water is moved from river to handmade bamboo aqueducts via simple constructions of all sizes.
17:30 Arrive Tam Coc, Ninh Binh check-in and free time. Have dinner and overnight at Ninh Binh.
07:00 Time for breakfast.
09:30 You will visit Trang An and spend about 2 hours exploring Trang An, the core of a world natural heritage site, in a small boat rowed by local people. Visit many limestones, water caves along the Sao Khe River.
12:00 Enjoy a special lunch prepared with the traditional cuisine. After lunch break, you will back to your hotel for relaxing.
15:00 Cycling to visit Bich Dong Pagoda; under the introduction of our local guide, you will get to know more about Vietnam’s history and understand the origin of Buddhism. Continue riding around the village to explore the gorgeous rice fields surrounded by limestone mountains with a unique route and visit a local family in the Tam Coc area. They are a traditional Vietnamese family with three generations living together. Here you will get the chance to see the house’s architecture and their daily lives.
17:00 Get on a small sampan to visit Thung Nham bird reserve and discover the most unique features of this area with more than 50.000 birds of 40 species flying to inhabit it every day. Then you will cycle back to your hotel for relaxing and overnight in Ninh Binh.
06:30 Time for breakfast and check out and departure to Bai Tu Long Bay.
10:00 – 10:15 Arrive at Halong International Cruise Port and be warmly welcomed by the Amazing Sails team.
10:30 Embark on the Amazing Sails Explorer cruise and start cruising heading to the remote Bai Tu Long Bay area. On the way, you will pass through the mystifying and stunning landscapes of thousands of rocky islets and islands.
11:30 – 12:00 Lunch will be served while we keep sailing through the stunning scenery of thousands of magnificent limestone mountains.
13:30 Continue cruising to Vung Vieng fishing village, this is the largest and most beautiful fishing village still in Bai Tu Long Bay, recognized by UNESCO as a world natural heritage, discover the village by kayak or bamboo boat. Through a small, quaint museum, you will learn more about their lifestyle and the customs of the local people from the time they were born until their passing.
14:30 Visit Thien Canh Son Cave, a natural karst cave in the middle of the sea that contains not only beautiful stalactites and stalagmites but also historical and cultural values of prehistoric sea fishermen from thousands of years ago.
15:30 Relaxing on the Thien Canh Son white sandy beach with breathtaking scenery.
15:00 Get back to the Amazing Sails Explorer to enjoy free time for sightseeing, photo hunting.
17:00 Great time admire the sunset on Bai Tu Long Bay and enjoy the sunset tea break.
17:30 – 18:00 Arrive at Halong International Cruise Port, disembark the cruise, and say goodbye to Halong Bay. Our limousine transfer is waiting to take you back to Hanoi safely.
19:30 – 20:00 Arrive in Hanoi, we will drop you off at your hotel relax.

07:30 Your tour guide come to your hotel for pick you up to visit the Mausoleum and the stilt house garden, the final resting place of the Vietnam national hero, President Ho Chi Minh, where he lived off and on from 1958 to 1969.
10:30 Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, The Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam). Where worship was offered to Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, the main platform of social morals and culture throughout many feudal dynasties in Vietnam.
12:00 – 12:30 Enjoy a special lunch with the local cuisine.
14:00 Visit Hoa Lo Prison Relic, one of the five scariest places in Southeast Asia. You will see how the French tortured political prisoners and the efforts of Vietnamese political prisoners during their stay here, as well as American pilots who had been shot down from 1964 to 1973, who called this prison “Hanoi Hilton Hotel”. McCain, a U.S. senator, was also detained here until 1973.
15:00 Visit Hoan Kiem lake and Ngoc Son Temple.
16:00 Discover Vietnam’s fascinating ancient art of water puppetry with an impressive Thang Long Water Puppet Show.
17:30 The tour guide will introduce you to the culture and daily life of the locals there.
